CELEBRITIES Jamie Lee Curtis (64) and Lindsay Lohan (37) had a small ‘Freaky Friday’ reunion last Friday. The two actresses share a photo of them together on Instagram. In doing so, they hint at a sequel to the popular comedy film, about a mother and daughter who switch bodies. “Hopefully we can change places again soon,” he said enthusiastically.
“Now that the strike is over, hopefully we can switch places again soon,” Curtis captioned the snapshot. She also shares some sweet words for Lohan: “You’ve grown up and you’re beautiful!” The photo has led to considerable speculation on social media about a possible sequel to ‘Freaky Friday’.

Previously, Jamie Lee, who won an Oscar this year for her role in ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’, also hinted at a new film. “People keep asking for a sequel,” she told The New York Times. “I feel like the time is right for a second part.” Lohan has also stated in the past that she is very enthusiastic about a possible sequel. “We both want it and leave it in the hands of the professionals. We would just make something that people would absolutely love.”
Good relationship
The Hollywood stars had a very good relationship from the start. Lohan recalled that Curtis “immediately took her under her wing” during the filming of ‘Freaky Friday.’ “I was so nervous about doing my first kiss on camera, so she talked to me and joked around so I wouldn’t stress about it,” Lohan said.
