Renowned American actor Jamie Foxx has been released from hospital and is recovering from an unspecified medical emergency, his daughter Corinne said Friday.
Last month, Foxx, 55, was taken to a medical center in the state of Georgia, where he was filming a movie for Netflix.
No details about his medical condition have been released since then. This Friday Corinne Foxx dispelled the rumors through a post on instagram.
“Sad to see the media go crazy. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks and recovering. He was actually playing pickleball yesterday.”
In an April 12 post, Corinne wrote that her father had “experienced a medical complication” but “due to quick action and good care he is now on his way to recovery!
Foxx himself posted a message on social media last week: “I appreciate all the love! I feel blessed.”
