The actor comes out of silence and claims to be suffering from colorectal cancer in an exclusive interview in the columns of the magazine People and on Instagram. But, James Van Der Beek is intended to be reassuring: “I have dealt with this privately until now, I have received a treatment and I have treated my general health with more attention than ever before. I’m in a good place and I feel strong. It was a sacred initiation, and I’ll tell you more when I’m ready,” he explains.
