James Gunn wants to jump aboard the “reviving old glory” train. He took to his Twitter to say that he is eager to develop a revival of The Knight Rider.
My friend @DavidHasselhoff and I have discussed doing a modern continuation of Knight Rider many times. The primary hurdle has been there aren’t enough hours in the day to do all the cool things I want to do! https://t.co/Gy24aG4hzc

The series, at its peak in the 1980s, had David Hasselhoff starring as the former detective re-identified by a tech billionaire to fight crime. Next collaboration after Guardians Of The Galaxy 2?
Fans probably shouldn’t get too excited, because the big question is where Gunn should get the time from.
In any case, Hasselhoff responded with “This is life, my friend”!. Over the years Knight Rider spawned many different TV movies and spin-offs, but the original series still stands as a rock.
