Duckworth beat Skander Mansouri from Tunisia 7-6(4), 6-2 and Olivo, for his part, beat fellow Argentine Facundo Mena 6-2, 6-1.
Now the Australian will face the winner of the match between Kazakh Denis Yevseyev and Zimbabwean Benjamin Lock, while the Argentine will face Tunisian Azis Dougaz, who defeated Román Andrés Burruchaga, also from Argentina, 6-3, 6-4 .
Another Argentine, Juan Pablo Ficovich defeated Ukrainian Vitaly Sachko 6-3, 6-2 and already awaits rivalry between Mexican Rodrigo Pacheco and Frenchman Terence Atmane.
The Brazilian Joao Lucas Reis da Silva was left out of the tournament after losing 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at the hands of the American Oliver Crawford, who in the second round will go against the Colombian Nicolás Mejía or the Frenchman Antonine Escoffier.
The event, which is part of the ATP Challenger Tour, will grant 75 ATP points for the world ranking to the champion and 50 to the runner-up, in the same way a bag of 80 thousand dollars will be distributed.
