James Corden is considering leaving his current hometown of Los Angeles for England. The British talk show host tells in conversation with The Sun that he misses his family enormously and therefore wants to return to Europe.
“My current contract expires in a number of years,” says Corden. “If I do decide to quit, it will be for private reasons, not a career choice.”
Corden and his family miss their family very much, he says. Five years ago they moved to Los Angeles because of the presenter there The Late Late Show with James Corden went to present. “We have three young children, and we are actually taking their grandparents from their grandchildren.”
According to Corden, these feelings of homesickness are “perhaps reinforced by the corona pandemic”. “But I have a strong feeling that my family has had to adapt to me for a long time.”
Corden also worked in England during his time in the United States. He made a special episode of it Gavin & Stacey, the British sitcom he invented. He has mainly appeared as a presenter and actor in American productions, including the new Netflix movie The Prom.
