Everyone’s favorite spy, James Bond, arrives on Amazon Prime Video this April 8. The move comes after the streaming service bought Metro Goldwyn Mayer.
In the transaction, they acquired nearly 4,000 movies and 17,000 episodes of various television series. Together they add more than 180 Oscars and 100 Emmys.
Bond’s intellectual property must be shared with Eon Productions, which is the company in charge of approving any changes that Amazon wants to make to any future 007 agent project.
This is a great announcement, since until now no platform had the British films in its catalog.
