James Blunt Celebrates Chart Success with ‘Return to Bedlam’: No Awkward Name Change Needed!

James Blunt can breathe a sigh of relief, because he doesn’t have to change his name to the catchy Blunty McBluntface. Downloading his first album Return to Bedlam entered the UK charts at number seven. Blunt had previously stated that he would change his name if his reissue album reached number one.

Blunt announced his plan in a video on social media. He had already asked people to come up with a new name in advance. Out of all the answers, the name Blunty McBluntface received the most votes.

To my delight

The 50-year-old singer has reacted to the new records on social media. “I don’t have to change my name,” says a happy Blunt in a video. Then he jumped for joy on a sofa.

On the record Return to Bedlam (2004) includes the British singer’s most famous song, You are beautiful. Also the numbers Wisemen and Goodbye My Lover is on the album. The 20th anniversary version of the album also features several previously unreleased songs.
