The Government of Jalisco, through the Secretariat of Economic Development (SEDECO), has reinforced its internationalization agenda with the aim of maintaining the course of economic growth and detonating more productive investments, therefore, for the second consecutive year the State is present at Hannover Messe, the most important industry fair in the world, which takes place in Hannover, Germany from April 16 to 20.
As part of the agenda of activities to promote the entity in Germany and seek new investors, the State will have a space in the Mexico Pavilion, where the best that Jalisco has for global investments in the industrial sector will be shown.
In addition, the Jalisco Tech Hub Act public policy will be presented to representatives of the Indonesian embassy, a guest country at the Hannover fair, and senior officials of the German company Bosch.
Jalisco’s agenda also includes meetings with companies that develop software, virtual reality and artificial intelligence (AI) for remote access, control and support of computers and other technological devices.
For Roberto Arechederra Pacheco, Jalisco’s Secretary of Economic Development, returning to Hannover means the opportunity to strengthen business alliances and bring the state’s companies the latest and most recent technological advances to increase their competitiveness.
“Several states have come to promote Mexico, but particularly in Jalisco we have been accompanied by the Investment Attraction Directorate and several industrial park developers to facilitate nearshoring for companies that want to establish themselves in our state,” said the Secretary.
The entity’s entourage will also participate in the Mexico-Germany Alliance Forum on Dual Education and Educational Innovation, which will serve to reinforce the efforts of the State Government through the Jalisco Tech Hub Act public policy, which seeks to direct the study programs to strengthen and develop digital, programming and English skills in the students of our state.
Also, in a meeting with the central agency responsible for promoting the economy and science in Germany and Latin America, they will seek to generate alliances for collaboration in the medium term.
In addition, a meeting with the Mexican embassy in Germany is contemplated to detect opportunities in the new global scenario and increase productivity in companies.

During the tour last year to Hannover Messe, 2 investments were made with the companies TH Automotive and Vectralis Baumann for 6 million dollars, there were also 28 work meetings with companies such as Volkswagen, Bosch and Siemens, IFM Electronic and Nokia.
