The Jalisco Health sector does not yet have a vaccine against Covid-19 for the winter season, as it rejects the Cuban and Russian Abdalá and Sputnik respectively, offered by the Federal Government and which are not endorsed by the World Health Organization. says the Secretary of the branch, Fernando Petersen
“We said we are not going to apply the Abdala and Sputnik vaccine in the Jalisco Health Sector, if we can have another vaccine we will be looking at it. Well, if the new vaccines arrived, let’s say Pfizer or Moderna, which are the ones that bring the new strain, I think it would be a great thing if we could do it, right? However, we are not sure what to see in the Homeland that has not yet left.”
