The Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, Jalisco received his counterpart from Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, today at Jalisco to fine-tune details and align work routes that are already being carried out in that state and will be implemented in Jaliscoto guarantee universal coverage for boys and girls with cancer, as well as plan an adequate infrastructure for their care.
The Jalisco president reported that this strategy will be presented next Tuesday and expressed his interest in knowing the experience that Nuevo León has had on this sensitive issue.
“Now the example was set by Don Samuel and this is how the relationship is, in which we learn along the way and share experiences and now we close ranks in this agenda, where civil society organizations, businessmen, among other important actors are involved” Alfaro Ramirez said.
García Sepúlveda explained that in his state the strategy consists of monitoring, diagnosis, medicine, treatment, surgery for the warriors who fight against cancer.
“It is a pleasure to be in my second home, and I would like to congratulate you because this program is something of the first world, so that no family loses its heritage again fighting for the lives of their children in the fight against cancer” commented Samuel García.
To close the meeting the governors made a bet for the match tomorrow, Saturday, February 12, Chivas vs. Tigres, in which they bet on the sponsorship of the remodeling of a school campus in the state of the winning team.
