Jaleswari Pramodhawardhani Joins the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD Winning Team as Deputy Inclusion

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Jaleswari Pramodhawardhani officially fills the position of Deputy Inclusion in the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD National Winning Team (TPN) starting today, Wednesday (15/11/2023) after being announced by TPN Chairman Arsjad Rasjid.

However, Jaleswari admitted that he still actively serves as Deputy V for Politics, Law, Security, Defense and Human Rights at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP).

“As part of the government, I am well aware that we have also observed the existing legal regulations. God willing, we will not violate the rules,” said Jaleswari in response to questions from media crew during a press conference at the High End Building, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (15/11 /2023) evening.

Dani, his nickname, admitted that he was able to attend the High End Building today because he had permission to go on leave.

He also admitted that he did not use state facilities to attend the TPN Ganjar-Mahfud meeting.

“So I took a grab (to the High End Building), not using an official car. So I understand very well how we can still adhere to democratic principles,” he said.

Dani then explained the reason why he joined TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, because he saw the situation of democracy which had been threatened in recent times.

He believes that candidate pair number three, namely Ganjar-Mahfud, is able to accommodate the inclusiveness of the government in the future.

“If we didn’t cover the current political situation, women’s rights or access to independence, both education and health, would be a very different situation,” added Dani.

Kompas.com notes, Jaleswari is not the only one who works at KSP and is part of the success team for the presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Previously, there was the Deputy for Information and Public Communication at KSP, Juri Ardiantoro.

The jury was officially registered as Deputy Chair of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for candidate pair number two, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Juri admitted that he had resigned from his position at KSP.

“I am Juri Ardiantoro, Deputy of the Indonesian Presidential Staff Office for Information and Public Communication, would like to convey information and explanation that I have submitted my resignation from this position to the President through the Chief of Presidential Staff (Moeldoko),” said Juri in his written statement, Monday (6 /11/2023).

“The reason for my resignation is to maintain the neutrality of the State Civil Service (ASN) in the 2024 elections, where I will join the campaign team for the presidential and vice presidential candidates,” he said again.
