Jaladhara Pump Set Since 1962: A Rural Journey of Suffering and Comedy

Directed by debutant Ashish Chinnappa, Jaladhara Pump Set Since 1962 will hit the theaters tomorrow. Urvashi, Indrans, TG Ravi and Johnny Antony are playing the main characters in the film. Jaladhara Pumpset is a film that introduces the audience to a few characters in a rural setting who are involved in the theft of a pump set. The film’s trailer indicated that the crime and the police case on it are all in the film. But Urvashi says that the film is about the journey of the characters who go through it rather than justice and it is more of a suffering than a comedy.

The film is produced by Baiju Chellamma, Sagar and Sanitha Sasidharan under the banner of Wonderframes Filmland. The film will hit the theaters on August 11. The theme of the film is courtroom satire. This is Wonderframes Filmland’s first production venture.

TG Ravi said that although the film is presented through comedy, behind all that laughter, there is a finger pointing against strong mistakes about the society. He said that you will laugh while watching the movie but it is not just laughter, there will be some issues affecting the society in it.
