Jakub Štáfek attracts to cinemas – eXtra.cz

Jakub Štáfek (31) has acted in many types of roles. The boy Matěj from Ulice, a policeman in Specialists, Morthy from the comedy film Shoky & Morthy or the peculiar athlete Lavi from the very successful series Vyšehrad. Which one did he enjoy the most? In cinemas, you can soon look forward to FYLM Vyšehrad, where Jakub even participated in the script and direction. In the show Life in the Stars on TV Nova, it attracts viewers to a film premiere. “There is no such thing on the Czech market!”

Jakub Štáfek most people remember from the series Street, where he played Matthew Jordan for many years. But since then he has acted in many other series and movies. For example, he starred in a movie Shoky&Morthy, which ran in cinemas on Friday at Prima Cool and can also be viewed on Netflix. Among Jakub ‘s most significant roles is Julius Lavický, abbreviated Lavi v series Vyšehrad.

The Vyšehrad series about an arrogant and a bit clumsy football player Lavim was created by an actor in the study. At first, no one expected the format to celebrate such success.

Jakub revealed how the series came about: “We originally supplied such sketches purely about the football environment and they didn’t like it at all, so they just directed us if we could come up with something more story-telling. And we made up this blonde moron, and he liked him. He then liked everyone else, so we kept going. ”

How would you characterize Lavi in ​​one sentence? “DEMENT.” And if you had to divorce it somehow? “A GOOD DEMENT!”

The series was very successful for the audience, it was created for that account Vyšehrad: FYLM, in which Jakub not only will play, but also participated in the script and direction. The movie will be in theaters soon! “I would like to invite you all to the film Vyšehrad FYLM with a hard Y on April 14,” says Štáfek proudly.“I think it will sound very confident, and take it that I am on my feet and that I am very humble, but nothing like that has happened on the Czech market yet and you should not miss it,” attracts viewers.
