The newspaper asked the Chamber about the role of the son of the president of the Supreme Audit Office, but in response it heard that the Chamber: “does not comment on matters and media reports related to NIK employees and private persons.” On May 28, Banaś issued an order establishing a team of social advisers. It is unknown who they are and how many there are. It is important, however, because the competences of this team include evaluation of the implementation of statutory tasks. This means access to documents on all inspections carried out by the Supreme Audit Office.
Banas’ son only confirms that he is a social assistant for his father in NIK. The social adviser, in turn, has access to all information and documents from the directors working in the Chamber. And the father of Jakub Banas, today the president of the Supreme Audit Office, is himself subject to the control of the Seym, “but this one is illusory today” – assessed the newspaper.

The media is still loud about NIK itself. The President of the Supreme Chamber of Control mentions the directors of the Chamber en masse – Rzeczpospolita recently informed – out of 16 directors of departments and offices of the Supreme Audit Office’s headquarters, 13 have already been mentioned. Now, according to Rzeczpospolita, the president of the Chamber clearly intends to fill the NIK College with his staff.
The head of the Supreme Audit Office, Marian Banaś, recently reported to the prosecutor’s office against his deputy Tadeusz Dziuba, a former PiS deputy. He also submitted a motion to recall Dziuba to the Marshal of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek. Dziuba is accused by NIK auditors of trying to manipulate the results of inspections unfavorable to the Prime Minister’s Office, informed Onet journalists, Andrzej Stankiewicz and Kamil Dziubka.
It is about Dziuba’s actions, described by Onet. NIK auditors claim that Dziuba tried to influence the results of a key audit – testing the effectiveness of Beata Kempa’s actions as the minister responsible for foreign humanitarian aid.
