There are many people on social media who have reacted to the images when Ottawa’s Jakob Chychrun completely sonically goes out into the aisle where the Dallas players are going to go in connection with one of the period breaks in Friday’s game.
As it turns out, there is a very good explanation.
The 25-year-old had been told to go to the Stars dressing room to have his face stitched up.
“For those of you wondering… I was told to see Star’s doctor in their dressing room for a little adjustment. Thanks for all the laughs,” he writes on Instagram along with a picture of a serious scar under his right eye.
Chychrun had three assists in the game, which Dallas won 5–4.
