Jakarta’s Proposal for New Fields to Support 2023 U-17 World Cup

Kota Solo will propose three new fields to be surveyed FIFA to support 2023 U-17 World Cup. wali Kota Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Rakawhich reveals it.

The 2023 U-17 World Cup will take place in Indonesia from 10 November to 2 December 2023. Solo is one of the host cities.

Solo will certainly hold the semifinal and final matches. Manahan Stadium was chosen as the venue for the matches in that event.

Gibran proposed three fields to be reviewed as training grounds 2023 U-17 World Cup. The three fields are the Mini Blulukan Stadium, Eleven March University Stadium (UNS), and the Sewu Village Field.

During the preparation for the U-20 World Cup which was finally canceled some time ago, there were already four stadiums prepared as the main fields for matches, and training fields. The four stadiums include Manahan Solo Stadium, Banyuanyar Field, Kota Barat, and Sriwedari Stadium.

“For training. Proposals from leaders at the center,” said Gibran when met by media crew at Solo City Hall, Monday (31/7/2023), quoted from detikJateng.

“The important thing is that we have provided four fixed fields, the rest are just waiting for instructions,” he added.

Gibran did not yet know in detail about the proposed new field 2023 U-17 World Cup. He is waiting for instructions to make improvements.

“For the field earlier, I don’t know the details yet. I also don’t know what the FIFA standards are. I also haven’t received instructions for the three fields,” said the eldest son of the Indonesian President, Joko Widodo.
