Jakarta Vice President Agrees with Mahfud Md’s Call for Change in Indonesia

Jakarta

PKB Vice President Jazilul Fawaid admitted that he agreed with vice presidential candidate number 3, Mahfud Md, who said that Indonesia is currently not doing well. Jazilul said that Indonesia really needs change, in accordance with the couple’s vision and mission Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin (AMEN).

“That is exactly what Mr Anies has said on various occasions, we need to make changes so that inequality does not widen,” said Jazilul to journalists, Saturday (25/11/2023).

Jazilul said corruption and social inequality must be handled comprehensively. This, said Jazilul, can start from planning, implementation and monitoring.

“Justice must be the main basis when determining programs and activities,” he said.

“In my opinion, words are not enough but awareness must be implemented through action. The increasingly dire situation cannot be resolved with appeals alone,” he continued.

Jazilul said Anies-Cak Imin often voiced this. So, he also assessed that Mahfud had the same view regarding change.

“The AMIN National Team has stated that from the start, meaning Pak Mahfud agrees with the idea of change,” he said.

Mahfud’s statement

Previously, Mahfud Md said that Indonesia’s current condition is not good. He said that the Indonesian government is plagued by extraordinary corruption.

“Brother, our current government administration, Indonesia is currently not in good condition. History calls us to improve. Why is it not in good condition? Brother, in Indonesia there is a lot of corruption in the government administration which is controlled by extraordinary corruption ,” said Mahfud when he was a speaker at the National Tausiyah event together to save & advance Indonesia, as broadcast on YouTube Umulquran Hidayatullah seen, Saturday (25/11).

Mahfud said that the rights of the people in the region were taken away at will. Law enforcement, said Mahfud, is also a problem.

“People’s rights, especially in foreign areas, are taken away at will. Enforcement of law and justice is also a problem. That is why, even though from time to time, Muslims progress, advance and progress, but many people are also left behind. ,” he said.
