JAKARTA – At least 10.5 million people in Jakarta have received injections vaccine first dose. Meanwhile, 7.8 million others have been vaccinated against the second dose.
The information was uploaded to the Instagram account @dkijakarta, Thursday (7/10/2021). The note shows that the vaccination target in Jakarta is higher than the central government’s target.
The post explained that of the 10.5 million people who were vaccinated, almost 77 percent or 6.9 million were people with DKI Jakarta ID cards.
Meanwhile, for the second dose of vaccine, of the 7.8 million people who were vaccinated, 59 percent or 5.2 million people were residents of DKI. Meanwhile, for non-DKI residents, 33 percent have been vaccinated.

However, the DKI Provincial Government emphasized that even if there is vaccination, tracing and isolation are still intensively carried out.
“Along with the test, trace and isolation strategy, COVID-19 vaccination is also being promoted for Jakarta residents aged > 12 years, to reduce transmission and impact of the Covid-19 virus,” the account wrote.
