The assistance was later modified into a cash grant of Rp. 300,000 due to various considerations, the cash assistance ended in July 2021 as conditions improved in Jakarta at that time.
Regarding this matter, whether DKI Jakarta residents will still receive assistance during Emergency PPKM this time, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria has not been able to ensure that Jakarta residents will get the assistance again, when implementing emergency PPKM.
He confirmed that there would be a new policy regarding this matter, but he declined to go into detail.

Meanwhile, member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PSI faction, Anggara Wicitra, asked the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to optimize regional reserve funds and the remaining unexpected expenditures (BTT) for handling Covid-19, which totals Rp. 2.1 trillion.
Details of the total Rp2.1 trillion come from an estimated regional reserve fund of around Rp1.4 trillion and the remaining Rp186 billion in BTT funds.

“The funds can be used for prevention efforts, such as maximizing the Satpol PP around the protocol roads and neighborhood roads in the red and orange RT-RW zones, to ensure that the community follows the health protocols,” said Ara, Wednesday (30/6).
