Yunita Sari (31) was arrested by the police on suspicion theft employer’s money. Yunita, who works as a household assistant (ART), is suspected of breaking into her employer’s ATM.
After breaking into the ATM, Yunita stole tens of millions of rupiah from her employer. Yunita broke into her employer’s ATM by entering the victim’s date of birth as a PIN.
“The suspect YS, the household assistant, took an ATM in the car and in the house then tried to use the victim’s birth date PIN until he succeeded in withdrawing the money,” said Pancoran Police Chief Police Commissioner Sujarwo when contacted, Thursday (29/2/2024).

Yunita is suspected of draining her employer’s money from ATMs of a number of banks owned by the victim. Yunita works as a household member in a house in Pancoran, South Jakarta (Jaksel).

After stealing, the perpetrator moves from place to place to avoid legal proceedings. The perpetrator left even though he was caught draining his employer’s ATM.
Yunita ran to Lampung to entrust the money she stole to her friend. However, the perpetrator was arrested in Bekasi City, West Java (West Java), in the early hours of Tuesday (20/2).
“After carrying out his actions in Lampung, he was searched at his address and couldn’t find him, but apparently he had returned to Jakarta until he was finally arrested in the Bekasi area. The perpetrator moved around hiding,” said Police Commissioner Sujarwo.
The perpetrator was arrested by members of the Pancoran Police Criminal Investigation Unit. It was stated that the victim suffered losses amounting to tens of millions of rupiah.

Yunita has been named a suspect and detained. To investigators, the perpetrator admitted his actions and argued that he broke into his employer’s ATM because he was pressured by economic problems.
Haven’t used the victim’s money yet
Police said the money stolen by Yunita was still intact. The police have confiscated the money.
“From the results of the investigation, the money was still with his friend and confiscation was carried out,” said Police Commissioner Sujarwo.
Investigators said the money had not been used because Yunita was afraid, especially when the case went viral on social media. The plan is that the money will be used after he returns to Jakarta from Lampung.
