Jakarta Deputy Governor Says There Are 21 Cases of Suspected Mysterious Acute Hepatitis in Jakarta

JAKARTAKOMPAS.com – Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the alleged case acute hepatitis mysterious figures in Jakarta reached number 21 until today, Wednesday (11/5/2022).

Riza said that of the 21 suspected cases found, three of them died.

“Temporary data there are 21 cases that are suspected to be related to acute hepatitis, although this is still in the process of being investigated by epidemiologists,” said Riza when met at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (11/5/2022).

Riza did not specify which cases of acute hepatitis were spread in any area.

“Later, the data will be checked with the Health Office,” he added.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government ordered all its staff to report the development of the case.

This Gerindra party politician asked that no one underestimate the spread of hepatitis cases.

“We have to fight all diseases, we face them by continuing to provide the best service,” he said.
