Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Volleyball Team Receives Awards from National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo gave appreciation and awards to the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Volleyball Team who won the Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship (AVC) championship.

The award for winning second place or Runner Up in the championship which was participated in by Asian and Oceania countries was handed over at the Rupatama Building at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Tuesday (23/5/2023) evening.

“Tonight, what is clear is that the general chairman of PB PBVSI and all my colleagues, especially the players and managers, have no words to say other than one thing, I am proud of all of you,” said Sigit.

Sigit expressed his pride for all the volleyball team members who had made the best achievements in the Asian championship. Moreover, said Sigit, previously there were several players who were on the Indonesian volleyball team that won a gold medal at the 2023 Cambodian Sea Games.

“So I am very touched because it was so extraordinary for my colleagues in a relatively short time, as appointed by the General Chairperson. While I know that among my colleagues, I have just finished carrying out the Sea Games activities and also won 1st place, which means this is indeed a very extraordinary thing. normal,” Sigit said.

Because the preparations were so quick, Sigit stated that the team’s achievements were extraordinary. “Besides Asia, there is also Australia, and the team that was just formed under the name Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi has succeeded in winning runner-up or second place,” said Sigit.

With this achievement, Sigit stated that all police personnel who were members of the volleyball team had contributed to Polri’s commitment to restore public trust by carrying the name of the Indonesian nation.

“I think in the current situation, where the National Police are continuing to try to raise and restore public trust. I am very proud that among the teams that are fighting for the Sea Games and matches between Asian volleyball clubs, there are also many Polri personnel who are directly involved. Once again congratulations and I’m proud,” said Sigit.

According to Sigit, all the championships achieved by the volleyball team were realized thanks to good cooperation and communication between players, managers and all related parties. Also, there is strong training and discipline from the Jakarta Bhayangkara Precision volleyball team.

Therefore, Sigit asserted, pride was not only felt by the Bhayangkara Corps. Instead, the state, nation and all Indonesian people feel proud of the volleyball team.

“So those who are proud, I think it’s not only the Polri institution, but also the whole community, volleyball fans in Indonesia are proud of all of you. And I’m sure that the achievements that my colleagues have made are not the last achievements,” said Sigit.

On the other hand, Sigit continues to remind the volleyball team not to be easily satisfied with the achievements so far. According to him, he must continue to train hard and be disciplined to achieve better results in the championships that will be faced in the future.

“There is still another task, we will face the World Beach Game world championship, a beach sports competition in Bali and then there will be other international championships. Of course I am sure that all of our colleagues will continue to excel and carry the name of the Polri and Indonesian institutions,” said Sigit.

Meanwhile, Sigit said that all police personnel who have participated in making the name of the Indonesian nation proud should be given an award to be able to go to school so they can pursue a career as a police officer.

“So how do they deal with their careers? Please pay attention so they don’t get bothered by these things. Commanders should pay attention to their welfare. I am sure that with the support of all colleagues, our personnel will perform better,” said Sigit.

“And of course your hard work, your sweat, support and prayers from your parents, family and the entire team, and managers, and of course the police institution will make my colleagues continue to achieve the next achievement. Once again I am proud and continue to achieve your achievements, ” continued Sigit while ending his speech.
