Jair Bolsonaro discharged from Florida hospital after intestinal problem

(Orlando) Former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro was released from a Florida hospital on Sunday with intestinal problems, an AFP reporter noted on Tuesday.

Shortly after 7 pm, Jair Bolsonaro got out of a vehicle with another person and rushed to the house on the outskirts of Orlando where he has lived since December 30.

The day before, the far-right former president had confirmed on social networks that he had been hospitalized for intestinal “adherence”, accompanying his message with a photo of him on his hospital bed.

His discharge from the hospital comes two days after thousands of his supporters stormed Sunday’s Presidential Palace, Congress and Supreme Court in Brazil to protest his defeat in the 2022 presidential election against the leftist candidate Lula.

Jair Bolsonaro had left Brazil for Florida two days before Lula’s inauguration on the 1stis January, refusing to hand over the presidential sash to the one whose victory he never digested on the wire. He lives in the house of a former Brazilian MMA fighter, José Aldo.

The former far-right leader has suffered a series of health alerts since the stab attack he suffered in September 2018, in the midst of the presidential election campaign.

Stabbed in the abdomen by an apparently deranged individual during a walk, he had narrowly escaped death, and the aftermath of this attack had ruined his tenure.
