Three nights of grumbling at the police station has had a major impact on him, according to his lawyer. Jorik is relieved that he is free again – and undoubtedly also that there are no charges against him. According to the lawyer, there has been no contact between the rapper and Jaimie since the alleged incident.

The Public Prosecution Service asked the court on Wednesday afternoon to detain the rapper longer pending the investigation. The police announced this to RTL Boulevard on Tuesday evening. The examining magistrate has decided that Jorik can freely await the course of the investigation.
“He just got out. The examining magistrate has decided that he will be released,” said Nienke Hoogervorst, the rapper’s lawyer, to RTL Boulevard. “There are conditions, I am not going to tell you anything about that yet. But he’s released today, so that’s good news. He is relieved.”

The footage shows the rapper having an altercation with his girlfriend and pulling her out of the car by her hair. This incident is said to have taken place on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam on Saturday.
The police announced on Sunday evening that they had arrested a 27-year-old man on the Stadhouderskade. Insiders close to the investigation reported to RTL Boulevard that it concerns Lil Kleine.
