According to the evidence presented by the prosecuting entity during the proceedings, the defendant today would have sexually abused a minor under 12 years of age on November 19 in Quibdó, (Chocó).
According to the investigation, the soldier was on vacation and took advantage of the fact that the girl was alone with another minor in a house where the uniformed man entered and, apparently, subdued her to sexually abuse her. When she resisted the attack, the man tried to suffocate her. In the midst of the struggle, the girl managed to flee and ask neighbors for help, but the defendant had already escaped from the scene.
It was also learned during the hearings that Avile Pedroza had offered the minor money in exchange for having sexual relations with him but she had refused. CTI officials with support from the Police managed to capture him on November 27.
