Regensburg – After seven games without a win in the 2nd Bundesliga, SSV Jahn Regensburg celebrated another success. The 1:0 (0:0) against SC Paderborn stopped the free fall in the table. In front of 7680 spectators, Andreas Albers (66th minute) scored to win.

Both teams struggled for a long time. Regensburg’s game was characterized by uncertainties and unclean passes, but Paderborn was unable to take advantage of the opportunities that arose. Florent Muslija missed from a good position (25′), SC striker Denis Srbeny was also denied with a long-range shot from 20 meters by the excellently reacting Alexander Meyer (40′).

Jahn got better in the second half, Jan Elvedi only hit the bar after a headed corner kick (63′). Only a little later Regensburg was successful: Striker Albers scored the goal of the day after a long ball from Benedikt Saller – Albers converted from an acute angle.
