British sports car manufacturer Jaguar has revealed several important details about the upcoming electric model that Jaguar promises to present by the end of this year. Jaguar has revealed that it will be a four-door GT-class car, so something like the Porsche Taycan and the like. Importantly, it will become the most powerful car in Jaguar’s history so far – the current record belongs to the XE SV Project 8 model, which developed 590 horsepower.
The manufacturer promises that the car will be able to travel more than 430 miles (690 kilometers) on a single charge, but does not specify what test cycle was used to make these measurements. The manufacturer has also revealed that a completely new, self-developed electric car platform will debut with this model. The starting price of the car in Great Britain will be around 100 thousand pounds.
Given the predicted UK price, the promised output which is likely to exceed 600bhp, the shape of the car and the promised range on a single charge – this is certainly intended to compete with the aforementioned Porsche Taycan and other similar models on the market.
