Jaromir Jagr surpassed Wayne Gretzky’s goalscoring record.
The 50-year-old forward of Kladno scored a goal and scored an assist in the Czech championship match against Trinec (4:5).
This goal was the 1099th in the career of Jagr, taking into account professional leagues and matches for the national team. He was ahead of Wayne Gretzky, who scored 1,098 career goals.
Gretzky scored 1,016 goals in the NHL, 56 goals in the WHA, and 26 goals for Team Canada.
Jagr scored 107 goals in the championships of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic, 8 goals in the Alpenliga, 93 goals in the Super League and KHL, 844 goals in the NHL, 47 goals for the Czech national team.
