Jagadish is an actor who has been in Malayalam cinema for ages. Jagadish has come in as a comedian and is currently shocking the audience with different roles. His recent performances in movies have all garnered attention in a big way.
Jagadish answers the question whether he wants to do old comedy roles again.
Jagdish says that he still has a lot of desire to do humor, but can only do age-appropriate comedy roles now. While sharing the details of his new film Falimi, he expressed his desire to do comedy roles again. He was speaking to Ginger Media.
‘I still have a good sense of humour. Jokes have changed a lot now. Also, a lot has changed at my age. I think it’s not right that I’m showing the same age comedy as Mainkutty in Godfather.
When you become the character of Appukuttan, you can do whatever Appukuttan of this age does. But it doesn’t matter if I’m walking behind Maya as a young man again.
If a very senior Maya or an older sister comes with that Maya, there may be some interest today. If I still follow Ma, people will ask if they don’t have any other work. Don’t make people say that (laughter),’ says Jagadish.
The movie Phalimi, which was released the other day, is continuing to be screened in the theater. The film is directed by debutant Nitish Sahadev. The film stars Basil Joseph as the lead and has Jagadish and Manju Pillai playing the lead roles.
The film tells the story of a family from Thiruvananthapuram on a journey to Varanasi and the interesting events that take place in between.
