Books – Muhammad Hammam:
Farouk Jaafar, the former star of Zamalek club and director of the white club’s football committee, currently denounced his club not obtaining the title of the Horn of Africa Club, which Al-Ahly club won in 2001.
Jaafar said in remarks on the “Zamalek” screen in the early hours of Saturday morning: “How did a team win nine championships that did not achieve the Horn of Africa Club title? The competing team achieved only seven titles.”
He continued: “Zamalek was weak, he did not have a strong man who defends the rights of the club, Zamalek in the last period, his rights were wasted.”
He continued: “Al-Qarn Club is a championship and not by the number of fans. The African Union in the last period was attended by the Al-Ahly duo Mustafa Murad Fahmy, Secretary Kaf, and Abdel Moneim Shatta, a member of the Technical Committee.”
Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Zamalek Club, had confirmed that a comprehensive file was being prepared for transmission to the International Football Association (FIFA) regarding the Horn of Africa Club file.
