Jadon Sancho Haven’t apologized to the manager yet Erik ten Hag. The 23-year-old winger is running out of time and now it is increasingly doubtful that he will stay at Manchester United after the January transfer window.
More than a month has passed since the friction between Ten Hag and Sancho occurred. The player is currently still in exile training alone at Carrington, separate from the main team.
ESPN’s internal source at MU reports that Ten Hag has not closed the door on Sancho, but as time goes by, there is a perception within the club that Sancho’s apology has become less and less meaningful. It would be different if he said it sooner.
Sancho is still under contract with MU until 2026, but there is a chance of leaving early next year if the conflict with Ten Hag does not end. However, with the current situation, it is believed that the Red Devils will suffer financial losses if they let him go.
Sancho’s performance during his two seasons at Old Trafford could be said to be unstable. His current valuation on Transfermarkt is less than 30 million pounds, far from when MU bought him from Borussia Dortmund for 73 million pounds.
Even though Sancho’s price tag may not be as high as before, it is believed that his salary of more than 300 thousand pounds per week can only be met by a handful of clubs. That’s what makes his potential move uncertain.
