Ole Gunnar Solskjaer welcomed the arrival Jadon Sancho to Manchester United. He considered the young English star to match the Red Devils playing style.
Man United announced the transfer of Sancho on Friday (23/7/2021). The 21-year-old winger was imported from Borussia Dortmund with a transfer fee of 73 million pounds (Rp 1.45 trillion), and tied to a five-year contract.
Sancho has been a target for Man United for a year. Sancho’s transfer could only be realized after Dortmund lowered his selling price, which initially reached 108 million pounds, in accordance with the Red Devils agreement.
Jadon Sancho highly valued because of his brilliant performances with Dortmund for four seasons. He made 137 appearances in total with 50 goals and 64 assists.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the manager of Man United did not hide his happiness after Sancho arrived at Old Trafford. The Baby-Faced Assassin admitted that the winger who graduated from Manchester City’s academy was talented and suited the Red Devils uniform.
