Jacto, one of the main sponsors of Expoagro 2023, will exhibit its line of Uniport self-propelled sprayers at the fair. In this year’s edition, the highlight will be the Uniport 2530, one of the company’s sales champions in Argentina.
With a low weight, the Uniport 2530 can operate at speeds of up to 25 km/h when spraying and 40 km/h when traveling, thus enabling great daily performance.
The sprayer has been noted for its low fuel consumption and reduced crushing and soil compaction, which increases crop productivity.
In addition, the interaction between the intelligent 4×4 hydrostatic transmission, the 198 hp engine and the ideal weight distribution between the axles allows spraying on terrain with slopes of up to 35%.
The Uniport 2530 is equipped with the technological package of the OTMIS line, Jacto’s precision agriculture brand, which brings together functions such as light bar (GPS), hydraulic autopilot and section cutting technology, which minimize failures and overlaps in the application and provide a more efficient and sustainable spray.
The 3000, 3030 and 4530 models will also be exhibited at the fair, the largest self-propelled sprayer in the Uniport line, with 42 meter booms. All models will be equipped with OTMIS precision farming technologies that can be checked by visitors.
Visitors will be able to see the autonomous sprayer
For the first time, the Brazilian multinational will exhibit its Arbus 4000 JAV autonomous sprayer in motion in Argentina. The exhibition will be held at the Expoagro Tecndromo.
Developed with the aim of increasing the efficiency of citrus spraying, the Arbus 4000 JAV is made up of a set of fans that work independently, with a fully electric drive.
The spray system integrates information from the sensors and individually controls the amount sprayed and the volume of air in each part of the plant, providing intelligent spraying, in the right amount and in the right place.
“We are presenting a completely new solution to the producer. It is a complete application service solution that monitors the spraying operation and with state-of-the-art technology”, evaluates Rodrigo Madeira, Jacto’s self-propelled spraying business manager.
The Arbus 4000 JAV has an autonomous operating control with remote monitoring and
interactive vehicle controllers through a console. Due to this, the fleet manager can operate all functions remotely. This technology allows working with more than one vehicle at the same time in convoy mode and virtual alignment of the machines, thus increasing your productivity.
The vehicle has a 132 hp diesel engine that works together with a 4×4 hydrostatic transmission with intelligent traction control (lower fuel consumption) and a sensor system that monitors all traffic on the vehicle and makes it stop automatically when it finds a stop. obstacle, thus allowing a safe and controlled operation.
The machine has a capacity of 4,000 liters that offers greater autonomy while working, it can operate within the crop and thus reduce damage to the plant and maximize the integration between the machine and agriculture.
Solutions for fruit growing and horticulture
With the aim of providing better quality and greater work capacity to farmers in the fruit sector, Jacto will launch the Arbus 2000 sprayer with a 1000 mm fan at Expoagro 2023.
With a capacity of 2,000 litres, made of fiberglass with high resistance to corrosion, the Arbus 2000 offers great work capacity and durability. The nylon propellers, also reinforced with fiberglass resistant to the corrosive action of agrochemicals, allow the air produced to be directed by blades that provide a uniform distribution pattern and excellent coverage in the different parts of the plant.
For the horticultural sector, the company will present the Condor 800 AM18 model for the first time in Argentina. With 18 meters of booms, the sprayer gains high operating performance. It is up to 17% faster in treating the crop field, which combined with the low crush rate reduces losses by up to 22%.
The Condor 800 AM18 can be equipped with the Omni 700 Multicontrol system, which manages the entire spray and ensures that the volume is applied correctly, regardless of speed variations. Tools like lightbar and section cutting provide savings in consumable usage and prevent misses and overlaps.
Fertilization solutions: more efficient and sustainable application
In addition to the sprayers, Jacto will exhibit the Uniport 5030 NPK fertilizer spreader, equipped with a wide range of technologies that allow efficient and sustainable fertilization, such as edge control and automatic control of 12 sections, which open and close automatically and minimize overlaps at the entrances and exits of the contours of demarcated areas. Depending on the shape of the area, savings can reach up to 15% in fertilizers.
The Uniport 5030 NPK also features the SmartSet system, a tool designed to help the farmer adjust the application band. In four steps, the necessary regulation data for a variety of fertilizers is obtained. The spreader also allows for faster maneuvering with a 35% smaller turning radius, which provides greater operating efficiency and reduces crushing in maneuvers by up to 40%.
Financing options for each type of need
Jacto’s commercial manager in Argentina, Marcelo Blanco, points out the fact that the company is participating for the second consecutive year as Expoagro’s official sprayer, with a complete portfolio of spraying equipment, both for traditional agriculture and for farmland agriculture. regional economies, one of the company’s focuses in Argentina.
“Visitors will be able to visit our fixed stand to learn about the entire portfolio, in addition to participating in conferences that will be given by Jacto technicians and executives. You can also see the Arbus 4000 JAV and the Uniport 4530 in motion at the Expoagro 2023 Tecndrome” White explained.
According to Blanco, Jacto will present farmers with various financing options, directly or through banks, thus meeting the needs of each rural producer.
