Jacques Rossler appointed CIO of the Brussels University Hospital

Successively CIO of several Belgian university hospitals, Jacques Rossler joined the University Hospital of Brussels as CIO.

This major Brussels health institution has just appointed a new CIO member of the Executive Committee, Jacques Rossler. He already has a long experience in Belgian health establishments.

Graduated with a Master’s degree in computer and electromechanical civil engineering from the Free University of Brussels (1994) and the Vlerick Business School (2003), he began his career as a consultant at HP (EAI, security, GED, Portals, CRM …). In 2003, he joined SSII Rainbow ICT Services as IT Manager. From 2008, he changed paths and joined a user company, Toyota as IS Manager. The Saint-Luc University Clinics in Brussels recruited him in 2012 as CIO. In May 2021, he joined the Erasme University Hospital, still as CIO, from where he evolved to become CIO of the entire Brussels University Hospital.

Since the mid-2010s, Jacques Rossler has participated in several expert committees. He has been a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) since 2018, an association of more than 5,000 healthcare IT specialists present in 56 countries. Since 2012, he has also been a lecturer (Lecturer) at the School of Public Health of the Catholic University of Louvain.
