The actor agreed to shoot due to lack of money.
Few fans know, but in Jackie Chan’s filmography there are not only action comedies. In 1975, the actor appeared in the rather frank film All in the Family. Unlike Hollywood stars, who accepted such shootings only at the dawn of their careers, by that time Chan was already quite a well-known actor in his homeland. Lack of money pushed him to work – Jackie’s family needed finances.
In the play, he plays a rather depraved character, who occasionally appears in the bed scenes. At the same time, now such films are not considered “films for adults”, since everything is shot quite chastely: Chan is only slightly naked, and the desired “hot” effect is achieved by piquant hints. But in the mid-70s, the picture immediately fell into the category of forbidden to minors viewers.
Having become famous, Jackie did not like to think about this tape. After one of these experiences, he never gave himself away or changed roles. Moreover, soon Chan had already starred in the blockbuster ‘Drunken Master’ and was not suffering from lack of funds.
