Linz.

On December 7, 2021, shortly after 10:00 p.m., an 18-year-old from the Linz-Land district came to the police because he had been robbed and beaten by three young people at the Linz main train station. Before that, three young people had walked from platform 21 in the direction of the train station toilet. A 16-year-old Syrian citizen from Linz hit the 18-year-old in the face and demanded money. The 18-year-old had no money with him and said he didn’t owe him any either. The four then went to the Kärntnerauge, where the 18-year-old’s wallet was searched, but it turned out negative. Suddenly the Syrian tore the open jacket from Linz’s body and put it on himself. Then the three young people left the station area and fled in an unknown direction. A search for the perpetrators was initially negative. One of the main culprits was found and identified through intensive investigations. While looking at the 18-year-old’s home address, he was found and arrested, according to the police.
