Pyfer opens with a hard left hook. Leg kick followed by another hard left from Pyfer. Jack starts to apply a little more pressure, sending a kick to the body. Super man punch from Jack, creates some distance, follows up with a leg kick. Hard left hook from Pyfer, Jack looks a little shaken. It is Pyfer who is responsible for the volume, often succeeds versus Jack who does not quite manage to get it standing. Jack tries to apply pressure again, but it’s clear that he respects Pyfer’s power. Another hard hook from Pyfer. To the body from Pyfer. Jack looks stressed, reacts a lot to any feints. Each hook. Pyfer lands several clean jabs.

Hard against Jack’s body. Again to the body from Pyfer. Jack dives, grabs a leg but Pyfer breaks free. Jack lands a left. Jack has started with leg kicks, something that facilitates his distance control, and also manages to increase the pressure. Pyfer is more on the back foot now. Nice jab from Jack. Pyfer closes with an uppercut. Pyfer sends a high kick, Jack manages to partially block. Heavy straight left to the body on Jack. Both find their way in with the jab, but there is a clear advantage in power to Pyfer. Leg kick from Jack, Pyfer lifts the leg. Pyfer increases the tempo, gets Jack against the cage. Quick jab from Jack. Nice right from Jack, Pyfer takes a few steps back. Definitely a better round for Jack.

Jack applies pressure. Pyfer responds aggressively, but the Swede’s footwork helps him away from the power. Leg kick from Jack. Jack doubles the jab, Pyfer goes for the clinch but gets a knee to the body. Still good boxing from Jack, combines with a hard leg kick that makes Pyfer react. Straight jab from Jack, Pyfer backs away. Jack applies pressure, lands a nice right and Pyfer desperately tries to wrestle. Jack lands punches on a huddled Pyfer. Jack pumps on with the jab. Pyfer seems to be hurt because he reacts violently to everything Jack does. Good knee followed by a hard right from Jack. Pyfer lands a hard right, steps up and charges in with punches. Jack backs away, moves away and lands a leg kick. Takes back momentum with a jab. Pyfer dives again. He still holds Jack’s leg but gets a few punches.

Leg kick from Jack and Pyfer almost trips, goes for a takedown but gets stopped. Front kick from Jack. Jab from Jack! Leg kick again followed by a jab from Jack. The jab sits all the time. Now it is Pyfer who reacts to all feints. Leg kick again and the whole leg flies on Pyfer. Pyfer clinches, looks for the takedown, presses Jack against the cage wall. Jack breaks free and jabs right away. He moves all the time and gets tickled. Jack lands a right, Pyfer gets a little sloppy, dives for the takedown again. It’s bleeding profusely from Pyfer’s nose, it’s the jab that’s constantly flicking. Pyfer backs up and lands a right. Oblique kick from Jack. tired and sloppy kick from Pyfer, gets a leg kick to the jaw. Pyfer lands a right, goes for a takedown but is easily stopped. Pyfer constantly backs down, lets himself be pressured by Jack. When he reverses, much of the power is lost.
Around 5
Jack goes in and sends right in, gets in a combo. Jack with a leg kick and the knee ducks. Again, the jab is essential in Jack’s press. Pyfer has slowed down significantly. Jack with a hard jab that looks to hurt. Pyfer tries to go in but gets a snappy jab that stops him in his tracks. Pyfer goes but gets pinned again. Jack dives and takes him down in one go. Jack works for a better position, throws some punches. Pyfer tries to hold him to stand up, but does nothing to try to get up. Right now he only gets to taste solid ground and pound. Jack is in half guard, finding in with short blunt elbows. Pyfer manages to get to full guard, but is flat on his back. Elbow from Jack. Hard ground and pound from Jack to end the round. Clear round to Jack!
