Mateusz Murański died on Wednesday, February 8, he was 29 years old. He gained recognition thanks to his participation in the series “Lombard. Życie pod zastaw”, as well as participation in martial arts galas, primarily freak fights Fame MMA and High League. In total, he fought nine duels, and his record is four wins and five losses. His father, Jacek, was also associated with freak fights, who fought three duels and lost all of them.

Jacek Murański was supposed to fight Marcin Najman at the High League 6 gala. However, the 54-year-old did not fight because of the death of his son. As Kacper Sosnowski from Sport.pl found out, Mateusz Murański was to join his father and fight Najman in the two-on-two formula. However, the partner of “El Testosterana” was not known.
On the day of the High League 6 gala, Jacek Murański published an emotional entry on Facebook, which was addressed to his son. “Dear son. It was today, March 18, 2023, during the High League gala, that the fight was supposed to take place, which was your idea and your dream. We were supposed to stand side by side father and son, in a two-on-two battle in the main event of the evening … this will not happen in the list “- wrote Marcin Najman’s would-be rival.
“Yesterday I spoke to one of the few people you liked and respected in the world of freaks. I learned from him that you talked the day before your terrible accident and told him how happy you were to fight side by side with the father of Spodek in Katowice” – added Jacek Muranski. He emphasized that it was a very important conversation for him. “Your friend convinced me that you would really like some part of your dream to be preserved and realized … Let’s see what life will bring son…” – concluded Mateusz Murański’s father.
