Jaanus Riibe continues as the chairman of the Kristiine region of the Central Party: the priority is green urban space!

At the annual meeting of the Kristiine region of the Estonian Center Party, Jaanus Riibe was re-elected as chairman. According to Jaanus Riibe, who has been the mayor of the Kristiine district for six years, several large projects have been launched in the district, which improve the living environment and whose completion the residents are waiting for.

“Among them are, for example, the design and construction of the new building of the Kullo interest center, the reconstruction of Räägu Park and the construction of a safe Tondi multi-level intersection. The priority is to stand for the development of the district and the well-being of local people, we want to create a friendly green urban space,” explained Riibe. “Also, people’s livelihood is important to us, and that is why we oppose the tax increases planned by the Government of the Republic.”

Natalja Gromovaja, Sergei Orehhov, Roland A. Rand, Nikolai Korb, Svetlana Baltina, Oksana Jaakson, Peeter Vitsur, Lea Nõukas and Eva-Maria Liimets were elected as board members of Kristiine region. Natalja Gromovaja and Nikolai Korb were appointed vice-chairmen. In addition, Anna Lugenberg, the chairman of the Kristiine club of the Central Party’s youth association, is a member of the board.

In addition to the chairman of the region, Natalja Gromovaja, Svetlana Baltina and Nikolai Korb were also elected members of the party’s council. The center party Kristiine region has 342 members and 10 new members joined during the year.
