J.Ruiter studio has created an electric bike in the form of a transformer box

American studio J.Ruiter on the creation of an electric bike called NOMOTO inspired transformer booth with graffiti. The author of the project was Joey Ruiter, according to the studio’s website.

Ruiter’s project is not about the electric bike at all, but about the environment in which it is located. We are talking about clean transport – which is just part of the block, – says J.Ruiter.

Rutier wanted to create something absolutely incredible and at the same time really suitable for the city. In the prototype of an unusual electric bike, the wheels, steering wheel and seats are pulled out of the structure immediately after starting the engine. When the NOMOTO is turned off, it just looks like a transformer booth, perfectly fitting into the urban environment.

I wanted to create a work worthy of a museum, which is completely imperceptible and so familiar that you just pass it by, – said the author of the project.

At the end of August, the electric bike should be brought to the Moto MMXX custom motorcycle show in San Francisco. The studio will also reveal more details about the new product there. The price of the electric bike is currently unknown. It is also unclear when J. Ruiter plans to release the first working versions of NOMOTO.
