Prosecutor Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, told Polsat News that the woman “starved and exhausted knocked on her friends’ doors today in the morning.” They notified the police, and Izabela was also taken under the care of paramedics.
The main interested party – as pointed out by prosecutor Węglarowicz-Makowska – submitted a statement that she does not want the media to report on her whereabouts. She also does not want contact with her family.
The spokeswoman added that the woman will be questioned as soon as possible – as a witness. Depending on what she testifies, the proceedings in her disappearance case will be discontinued or will be continued by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec.
Dariusz Loranty is not surprised that the woman made a statement. – After Ms. Izabela was found, the classification of the act was changed from abduction to disappearance. In such situations, the person found must make a statement whether they want their family to be notified of this fact. This is the procedure – he says. In the opinion of the former police officer, more people have probably helped Izabela P. recently. – I assume that they did not want to participate in it any longer, so as not to expose themselves to trouble – the former police officer argues.
