Izabela Olszewska, the hostess from Andrzej Wajda’s “Wesele”, died, Janina Chomińska from the sequence “Over time, over the times…”, actress of the Stary Theater, lecturer and vice-rector of the State Greater Theater College. Ludwik Solski in Krakow. “The loss is indescribable. Somebody who was the inspiration of Polish theater has handed away,” mentioned director and trainer Józef Opalski, remembering Izabela Olszewska.

Izabela Olszewska was additionally a devoted trainer, for over 30 years of labor she raised many generations of nice actors (…) – it was written.
Izabela Olszewska was born in 1930, in Wola Rzędzińska close to Tarnów. In 1954, she graduated from the State Greater College of Performing in Kraków. She made her theater debut on February 24, 1955 on the Wybrzeże Theater in Gdańsk. She died on Monday, June 3.
