Mochamad Iriawan gave a surprising answer about the chances of being renamed as PSSI general president at an extraordinary congress (KLB) future.
On Monday (31/10), the PSSI sent a letter to FIFA asking for recommendations on the implementation of the Ordinary Congress on 7 January 2023 and the PSSI KLB on 18 March 2023.
The name Iriawan, familiarly referred to as Iwan Bule, still has the opportunity to return to being the number one person on PSSI. However, Iwan Bule has not yet dared firmly respond to this opportunity so far.
“Now it’s not reliable, it doesn’t matter, don’t ask again,” Iwan Bule said CNN TVTuesday (1/11) night.
Iriawan admitted that he did not want to think about being re-appointed as PSSI president at KLB 2023 later on.
“I don’t think I’ll go there. I’ll finish it now. We’ll finish the transformation,” Iwan Bule told CNNIndonesia.com.
“KLB is still March, I will finish the rest of my work until March. There is the AFF Cup [2022] after. I have to take care of the children. The fact is that I am still the general president now, “said Iwan Bule.
When asked about his personal desire to be PSSI president again, Iwan Bule timidly replied.
“I can’t talk like that. So let me work first. I’ll finish the rest of my tenure at the most for football. This is a form of my responsibility,” said Iwan Bule.
