TRIBUNNEWS.COM – PSSI President General (Ketum) Mochamad Iriawan or who is often referred to as Iwan Bule is finally willing to open his voice regarding the insistence on resigning from the post of PSSI President General.
It is known that the push to resign came after the Kanjuruhan tragedy that occurred after the soccer match between Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya on October 1, 2022.
The Kanjuruhan tragedy has so far killed 135 people and injured hundreds of people.
According to Iwan Bule, resigning from the post of PSSI president is not a solution to resolving the Kanjuruhan tragedy.
Iwan also said that if he stepped down as PSI president, it would mean he would be a loser and a coward.
So Iwan didn’t want to leave his position at PPSI.

Especially if you have to leave PSSI now, where the problem of the Kanjuruhan tragedy is not yet fully resolved.
“If I quit, we don’t think it will solve the problem. If I quit I’m a coward, I’m a loser.”
“If I go back, I’ll sleep at home, it’s time for me to go. But it’s time for me to leave what’s happening now,” Iwan said in a video broadcast on Kompas TV’s YouTube channel on Saturday (29/29). 10/2022).
Iwan further said that he now had to address the issue of the Kanjuruhan tragedy in various ways.
One of these is the creation of a task force for the transformation of Indonesian football, involving the government, AFC and FIFA.
Everything Iwan did so that all parties involved in Indonesian football would still feel his presence as PSSI general president.
“I have to deal with this with yes, I did the task force. Then I paid a visit to them.”
“To raise their morale. Oh, the president general is with me,” he concluded.
