Ivory Coast: Dominique Ouattara signs a memorandum of understanding between the HME of Bingerville and the Bambino Gésu pediatric hospital of the Vatican
Dominique Ouattara, President of the Children Of Africa Foundation visited the Bambino Gesu Pediatric Hospital of the Vatican on Friday 16 September 2022, in Rome.
This visit, which falls on the sidelines of the official visit to the Vatican by HE Mr. Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of the Ivory Coast, from 15 to 17 September 2022, allowed the wife of the Head of State to discover this 150-year-old hospital. .
Ms. Dominique Ouattara, during this visit, was accompanied by Ms. Nadine Sangaré, Director of the Children Of Africa Foundation.

Two important moments marked this working visit to the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital of the Holy See, namely the meeting with Mrs. Mariella Enoc, President of the hospital and the visit to two departments of the health company.
During the meeting, these two personalities, who are meeting for the first time, exchanged mainly on the respective activities of their respective institutions.
Naturally, the President of the Children of Africa Foundation and promoter of the Mother-Child Hospital of Bingerville founded in 2018, expressed a strong interest in collaborating with this Vatican State hospital.

The exchanges between the two personalities, concerned about the health and well-being of children, made it possible to identify the fields of oncology, orthopedics and reconstructive surgery as potential areas for cooperation.
The two parties immediately adopted and signed a memorandum of understanding between the Bambino Gésu Pediatric Hospital of the Vatican and the Dominique Ouattara Mother-Child Hospital in Bingerville. This memorandum aims on the one hand, to work together for the promotion and protection of the health of the most vulnerable population and, on the other hand, to work to strengthen and develop cooperation between these two hospitals in pediatric care.

Subsequently, the two Presidents visited the hospital, in particular the Nephrology and First Aid services where the quality of the equipment and the professionalism of the operators were appreciated by the President of the Children Of Africa Foundation.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Dominique Ouattara and her guest exchanged gifts, including good chocolate from the Ivory Coast, in memory of this first visit.
