Salvadoran skater Ivonne Nóchez became the world champion in the 100-meter lane event, senior women’s category, at the 2024 World Skate Games, held in Montesilvano, Italy, a feat that once again places the athlete among the best athletes in the country in 2024.
It took just 10.69 seconds for the Salvadoran to climb onto the most important podium in the discipline, beating the French Haila Brunet in a race full of emotions, who recorded an estimated time of 10.76 seconds to take the silver medal, while the bronze on this occasion went to the Colombian Valeria Rodríguez.
