Liepaja musician Ivo Fomin’s latest song album “Man” was released in May, followed by a series of concerts, which due to various restrictions could not take place. However, Ivo does not give up in the face of difficulties, so he releases a new song and plans to give concerts, as well as prepares for a big concert in Liepaja.
So far, several songs have been released as singles from Ivo Fomina: “Man”, “Always”, “You are for me”, “Let it burn” and the currently popular song “Day or Night”. Well, the next single of the album goes to the listeners – “On the day when it stops raining”.
This song, like the other songs on the album, was written together with the long-term song partner of Ivo Guntars Račs.
“We all long for an ideal moment when everything will settle down, when the rain will stop raining and the sun will shine. These are our dreams and our longing for a better life. They want people to smile again. But it doesn’t happen after a magic hint, ”comments Fomin on the new song.
“Miracles do not happen, but if they do, there will always be everyone’s merit. For miracles to happen, it is not enough to wait for them. Something will have to be done by itself to make it happen, ”adds Guntars Račs.
In addition to Ivo, members of the singer’s group Roberts Dinters (guitar, keyboards), Kristaps Eihvalds (bass) and Ēriks Hanzovskis (drums) also participated in the recording of the song “The Day When It Stops”. Mixed by Jānis Kalve (“Good Recording Studio”).
Despite the incident in Tukums, when a fan of Ivo’s music, who was denied entry to the concert, informed the police that an explosive device had been placed in the house of culture, and the difficult conditions, Ivo has decided to give a couple of concerts this year.
