In the so far last episode (others are already being filmed) of the series, Iveta, who has already arrived at Voyo, gets into trouble. It’s the mid-nineties, singer Iveta Bartošová gives birth to a son, and quarrels with Ladislav Štaidl, played by Ondřej Brzobohatý, begin. His girlfriend blames him for not spending much time with her and Artur, so arguments arise.

“In that case you’re spoiled because what you have here would kill other women for it.” rages the serial Shtaidl when the warbler complains that she is doing everything alone.

And what will the next episode bring?

“Iveta’s time with little Artur is redeemed by the career break she agreed with her partner Ladislav Štaidl. However, Iveta soon begins to miss the concerts and the audience. She discovers that the famous composer and her neighbor Karel Svoboda (Saša Rašilov the youngest) is looking for a new singer for his musical Dracula. Iveta knows that this opportunity could bring her back to prominence. But Ladislav is categorically against it. With the last part of the third series, the turning nineties of Iveta Bartošová, performed by director and screenwriter Michal Samir, closes on Voyo,” reads Nova’s statement.

Patricie Pagačová overcame Anna Fialová

Probably no one doubts that Anna Fialová, the representative of the main role, is an excellent actress. But it doesn’t suit Iveta at all. Don’t let her get mad at me, but she’s like a scared fish against her. The author of these lines knew the singer personally very well and is convinced that the creators failed to find a woman with the proverbial sparkle in her eye.

Iveta had a special charm, so even if you went to her knowing what she had done to whom, whom she had hurt, she still disarmed you, you forgot everything in her presence.

It is extremely difficult to cast such a persona, and Nova simply did not succeed despite all her efforts, which brings down the whole series quite a bit. At the same time, charisma was an extremely important part of Iveta’s personality, but Anna Fialová completely lacks it in this role.

It is paradoxical, however, that the sixth volume overall and the third episode of the second season of the series at the same time, she offers, in my opinion, an absolutely perfect prototype of an actress for this role: in the fiftieth minute of the piece, Iveta meets the winners of the competition to meet her, and the representative of the winner, who is Patricie Pagáčová, shoves Anna completely in her pocket. At least visually, yes. In short, it is Iveta as embroidered. She radiates what Iveta radiated, she laughs beautifully, evokes emotions.
