Iveco Inaugurates New Campus for Training in New Technologies and Energies

Iveco yesterday inaugurated its campus in Trappes (78), not far from its headquarters. A hundred people, journalists, dealers, sales representatives, attended the event. The center is dedicated to the training of new technologies and new energies.

“Our technicians will have to master the new energies and so will our sales staff. The campus will also be a place representative of our brand. It becomes our center of excellence,” said Emilio Portillo, Managing Director of IVECO France.

The 2,900 m2 campus is home to the Iveco Academy. It will train 2,000 people each year. The center recently hosted the first hydrogen training for Iveco personnel. It has 2 workshops dedicated to new technologies: electricity and hydrogen.

“This is a new space dedicated to promoting all of our Iveco Group brands. We will be able to convey our messages, inform and train,” declared Laurent Feriti, director of Iveco Academy. “We will use this center to send messages to our partners. This center will also be at their disposal. One can imagine an event organized by bodybuilders,” he added.

Iveco Academy launched in 2022 brings together all of Iveco’s commercial and technical training teams. It has strengthened its partnerships with technical CFAs and set up Sales-expert training. “This organization makes it possible to create synergies and to gain in productivity and responsiveness in order to prepare for the arrival of our electric and hydrogen offers” specified the manufacturer.
